<p style="text-align: left;">In this Photoshop tutorial we shall learn how to apply halo effect to a textual content.</p>
<p><strong>Step 1</strong>: Open a New document and set the content to transparent.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2</strong>: Insert the textual content by clicking the ‘T’ button. Click Ok when you have finished inserting the text.</p>
<p><strong>Step 3</strong>: Holding the ‘Ctrl’ button, left Click with your mouse on the layer palette. The text alone gets selected.</p>
<p><strong>S</strong><strong>tep 4</strong>: Then Select à Feather, and set the feather radius to 5 pixels.</p>
<p><strong>Step 5</strong>: This selection has to be applied to Layer1. So, clicking this layer will activate the layer palette.</p>
<p><strong>Step 6</strong>: Pick a color for both the foreground as well as the background by clicking on the color selection option in the main toolbox.</p>
<p><strong>Step 7:</strong> Next, Edit à Fill and choose the ‘Foreground Color’ in the dialog box.</p>
<p><strong>Step 8</strong>: Click ‘Ok’ when you finish doing this.</p>
<p>The desired halo effect can be seen on the screen.</p>

<p>Metadata can be searched for keywords, colors, image resolution, and much more.  Once common batch task is to attached Metadata to a series of images.  The SHIFT key will select consecutive items, the COMMAND (MAC) or CONTROL (PC) key will select non-adjacent items.  Using the ITPC section of the Metadata pane, you can now attach up to 30 fields of custom Metadata.<span id="more-1"></span></p>
<p>Metadata plays an important role in search engine optimization (SEO) because it helps to describe the image/photo to search engines, which in turns will help the search engine categorize the content of the page.</p>
